dive - A tool for diving into Docker images

Dive is a small CLI tool that lets you analyze Docker images. I use the tool when I want to take a close look at the layers.
Docker images often contain files that are not needed at all for the process that is supposed to run.

Dive lets you jump directly into the individual layers using its console application.

A terminal window shows a detailed view of a Docker image with various layers and their sizes. There is information about permissions, file paths, and the current layer contents. The image information also includes details about efficiency and wasted disk space.

A keyboard shortcut lets you quickly switch between the "panes".
