On April 8, it was that time again. The Magento Rhein-Main meetup met again. This time at the offices of my employer netz98 in Mainz.
Drinks and a good atmosphere were taken care of. Things kicked off with "Magento 2 from a business perspective" by my colleague Ralf Lieser, who has been working with Magento 2 for a while (for example, on topics such as A look at the current beta of Magento 2 or Magento 2 – service layers increase efficiency). The planned 10–15 minutes turned into almost an hour because of the lively discussions on the topic.
After Ralf, Tim Hahn gave an insight into the market situation and explained what ebay intends to do with Magento. Tim mentioned some connections that gave me food for thought and changed or put into perspective my view of ebay, ebay Enterprise, and Magento.
At the end, I presented some tools and services under the topic "Magento ecosystem".
Here are my slides from the evening:
Please note! The slides mention only a few services as examples (no claim to completeness).
