It is nothing new that IE6 annoys every web developer. But what can you do when the "browser" still has a 10–20% market share?
Many users do not know that there are browsers other than the crippled software from Microsoft installed on their computers. For this reason, an initiative against IE6 has now been founded. A detailed description can be found in an article on gulli.de.
The initiative now also has a wiki. There you can copy a piece of code (a CSS conditional comment) that displays a small window with an update notice for every IE6 user. There are now also plugins for WordPress and Drupal, for example, to make integration easier.
